Njord's nut strips are a natural chew bone, made by hand from Swedish cowhide from local farms. The chew smudges less and lasts longer because the whole skin, including the exclusive grain skin, is used. By also retaining the hair, chemicals are completely excluded from the manufacturing process. The hairs contribute extra good taste and fibre.
The beef strips consist of air-dried skin, shaped like candy strips, with a slightly lighter chewing resistance. It fits dogs of all sizes, but is especially adapted for the smaller dog.
Each nut strip is approximately 15 cm long and 2.5 cm wide.
Chewing stimulates and helps keep the teeth clean of plaque. The benefits of chewing apply even if it is limited to 15 - 30 minutes a day. We therefore recommend timing the chewing sessions and that the dog is kept under supervision with access to fresh water when it chews.
