Description
Njord's nut roll is a natural chewing bone, made by hand from Swedish cowhide from local farms. The chew smudges less and lasts longer because the whole skin, including the exclusive grain skin, is used . By also keeping the hair, we can completely exclude chemicals from the manufacturing process. The hairs contribute extra good taste and fibre .
The nut rolls consist of rolled air-dried skin and are the coarsest chew in our range. It is therefore suitable for dogs that like a strong chewing resistance and is available in three sizes: medium, large and extra large.
All our chews are made by hand and each cowhide is unique. Therefore, thickness, length and appearance may vary slightly. The nut rolls are approximately:
Medium: 14 cm long
Large: 20 cm long
Extra large: 30 cm long
Challenge guide
Chewing stimulates and helps keep the teeth clean of plaque. The benefits of chewing apply even if it is limited to 15 – 30 minutes a day. We therefore recommend timing the chewing sessions and that the dog is kept under supervision with access to fresh water when chewing.
